Some weeks ago, during a trip, they played this “A Mistake by Mistakes” cassette tape compilation, out on that enigmatic Berlin, Neukölln based label Kashual Plastik. Sick folk-not-folk-modern-folk-for-theee-folks music. Edgy. Instantly attractive. Making moments, that briefly make you overcome the atrocities of our time. Emo sharing style. Dreaming fab. Drifting in make-believe. Walking down alleys of mind. It features contemporary psychedelia, folk in acoustic beauty, flickering tape effects, Roger Corman-ish score suspense, loop magic, minimal wave, gamelan tribalism, lo-fi-indie, trip hop, field recordings, Woodsist voodoo, piano crescendos, instrumental guitar visions. Sliding, Gliding. Lots of individuals humming, spoken wording, singing. Melodies in constant change. Melodies for the strange. Twenty-two hallucinations, created by citizens like TRJJ, Beau Wanzer, Wormhook, Orion Music Workshop, Esse Pi Enne, Gil Shani, Drop Zone, Gajek or Who Cares?. Their music got me down\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"bcTruncateMore\"\u003e on my knees and I couldn’t focus on anything. Later that day I rented a hotel room somewhere. I live here since a while. I wear a watch now, out of habit not because I need it. By mistake, some oddly mistakes, gave me plenty of time. I don’t know, what you might feel about this. I make this trip a lot. It gives me some kind of care.
