In the late sixties Finns began to believe that Finnish jazz, played and composed by Finns, might after all be on a par with what was being produced by its European counterparts, even if the music of Suomi players was still in search of a unique character of its own.
During their short life span, the avant-jazz all-star sextet Tuohi Klang released their only album on the soon-to-be defunct psych label UFO. Finally, Svart Records are proud to present this cult treasure and highly sought after album reissued for the first time ever.
