Really bumping brass work from the streets of Nola – served up by the youthful Stooges Brass Band, a group who are as tough in their grooves as they look on the cover! There's no old school hoke going on here – as the rhythms and horns are both mighty tight, and go for a style that's as influenced by soul music as it is the older traditions of the Crescent City! Titles include the great "Stooges Reunion" – a rework of the classic "Family Reunion" by The O'Jays – plus "Can You Hear Me Now", "Oh No", "I Need You", "I Gotta Eat", and "Why They Had To Kill Him".
