Debut 7" from this Florida band. I'm always skeptical when someone says that a record sounds like old Dangerhouse punk, as all too often all that means is that they're a by-the-numbers punk band (usually with a girl singer). However, Rose Cross f***ing NAIL that sound. The high-pitched, multi-tracked vocals are totally reminiscent of that era, and like a lot of the Dangerhouse bands, Rose Cross's riffs seem very much informed by the simple, rocked-out sound of James Williamson-era Stooges. This band also write f***ing great SONGS with big choruses. Six short bangers on a 33RPM 7"... doesn't get more punk than this!
