Berlin, 2026. Sometimes it takes time for a band to figure out what it really wants to say. R.O.S.A. didn’t need that time.
The Berlin-based hardcore punk band – consisting of Hassan (vocals), Til (drums), Jörg (guitar), and Max (bass), all veterans of Patsy O’Hara, Empty Vision, Tackleberry, and Ratfeast – made their comeback in 2025 with three digital singles and knew from the very beginning where they were headed. Now it’s official: In August 2026, their first studio album, “No Peace for You”, will be released on the Münster-based independent label This Charming Man Records – home to Die Nerven, Kadavar, and Hysterese, and one of the few labels that still views vinyl as a medium, not just an accessory.
“No Peace for You” features eleven new and re-recorded songs, including re-recorded versions of the three E:P: tracks “Cold Moon”, “Black Noise”, and “Ugly Boys”. The band’s core sound? Dark, reverberant, direct, with a metallic edge – for fans of GAG, Gulch, or other chainpunk maniacs. The re-recordings aren’t a polish-up of the old material, but rather a statement of where they stand: this is how the band sounds now, with an album under their belt instead of a demo ahead of them.
In between: soundscapes. Moments that let the music breathe – or, more precisely, suffocate it. R.O.S.A. uses these spaces not as filler, but as part of the album’s language. On “No Peace for You”, there are no gaps, only intention.
