Prügelknaben was a Danish punk band that, among other things, played on the early Danish punk scenes Rockmaskinen and Saltlageret. The band seems to have been most active in 1979-1980. The Prügelknaben played i.a. to the legendary punk festival Concert of the Moment in Saltlageret on 9 November 1979, and appears on the subsequent live album from 1980 with the tracks "Quickstep" and "Polution". The Prügelknaben debuted in Christianshavn's Beboerhus on 31 March 1979, where they played together with Sods and Elektrochok. The concert was reviewed by Peter Peter in the punk fanzine Iklipsx no. 1, May 1979.
