The very first record release by the East Berlin cult punk legend, over 40 years after its formation as a "double feature" LP on the major label sub-outlet Iron Curtain Radio. Planlos' songs are absolute classics of GDR punk rock. Their lyrics were politically explicit and oppressively poetic. Hardly any other band embodied the charisma of East Berlin punk so much. The band performed exclusively illegally. In 1983, Planlos played a highly conspiratorial concert with the Toten Hosen, which led to a band friendship that continues to this day. Constant Stasi observation and conscription into the NVA led to the dissolution of Planlos, a fixed item on the program in the GDR state's defensive spell against undesirable subculture actors. There are seven songs on the recording debut: on the A-side the original versions from 1982, restored as best as possible from historical cassette recordings. On the B-side, the seven songs can be heard in completely new versions recorded by the current band line-up (Planlos X). Cult!
