The Düsseldorf-based DaDa-dance-band—formerly known as Mofa-Punks—is back with 11 tracks in tow, consistently twisting further into the realms of NDW, punk, and "gaga-wave." "Dynamic stasis," my ass! Backed by a drum machine setup that’s seen better days but fueled by a palpable, newfound zest for playing, they combine gloriously entertaining lo-fi punk with danceable disco-synth interludes, squawking guitar solos, acoustic guitar (!), and remarkably smart trash-punk lyrics—leaving you wondering whether this is the sound of eternal youth or actual intellectualism.
