The Melvins are one of the most influential bands in modern music. Formed in 1983 by singer/guitarist Buzz Osborne, who was joined a year later by drummer Dale Crover, the group is credited with fusing the worlds of punk rock and heavy music to create a completely new subgenre. Over their 40-plus-year career, they have released more than 30 original albums, numerous live albums, and countless singles and rarities.
