A collaborative album by groundbreaking electronic musician and producer Mark Pritchard with the frontman of The Smile and Radiohead. Pritchard is a luminary of 1990s British electronic music, having worked with projects Reload, Link, and as one half of the production duo Global Communication alongside Tom Middleton. In 2011, he released two remixes of the Radiohead song "Bloom" and, throughout his diverse career spanning many styles and forms, has remixed other tracks by artists such as Aphex Twin, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey, and Slowdive. Their collaborative album is Yorke's first release for Warp Records, a multi-layered, richly textured album that encompasses multiple narratives and genres. Across the album's 12 songs, Pritchard showcases his virtuosity with archaic machinery unearthed from synthesizer archives, taking the music down unexpected and experimental paths. Yorke, in turn, delivers a captivating, expansive vocal performance that delves into dark, introspective narratives.
