We continue with the Ipecac ISIS reissues: “Wavering Radiant” is the band's last album from 2009, remastered by James Plotkin.
The 2LP 140g vinyl comes in a tip-on gatefold sleeve in two versions: standard black vinyl and an indie exclusive edition in ultra transparent.
The album was produced by Joe Barresi, and the band split up less than a year after its release. The album continues Isis' tradition of writing long songs, but deviates slightly from the soft-loud dynamics and post-metal aesthetic that characterized earlier releases. It is widely regarded as the band's most accessible album. Although the band has not existed for over a decade, their influence on metal is still felt, and sales figures continue to make them one of Ipecac's top artists.
