‘Heartwork’ is the fourth album by Carcass and was originally released in 1993. Liverpool’s death metal pioneers are hugely important and influential in the genre. ‘Heartwork’ features a huge wall of riffs and squealing lead lines together with a pummeling rhythm section and lyrics that are seemingly culled from a medical dictionary. A death metal classic.
