This is the solitary fruit of my hermitic practice - seven days, from dawn till dusk, spent in a retired Church of the Holy Cross, tucked away deep in the Croatian mountains. Seven days and it was done. With the final closing of the door, this record was hermetically sealed in thyme & spathe, not a single note was added nor retouched - what you are hearing now is the breathing marrow of what occured then.
This album is flawed in many ways, and what an impossible task to mummify one's outer body of inner work and bake it into a single file of digital music. Yet never has a creative process led me closer to myself and I hope that this can be heard when listening to the dormant room that wheezes in between the strings.- 'and one lugubrious morrow, my primordial self returned'.
