This newly unearthed 1974 Berlin concert captures legendary Pakistani khayal singer Salamat Ali Khan in a 40-minute rendition of Raag Chandrakauns, alongside Shaukat Hussein Khan on tabla and Hussein Bux Khan on harmonium. With Khan accompanying himself on an alpine zither, the trio moves from spacious, meditative improvisation to intricate rhythmic interplay.
