Cassette reissue of Nein Rodere's sold out 2023 lp 'Form & Feeling', originally released on Horn of Plenty. This was his first full length release conceived as such and allows for a sprawling and immersive front-to-back listening experience.
Since its inception in 2017, visual artist David Roeder's Nein Rodere project has firmly established itself in the liminal space between 21st century kitchen sink songwriting and unrestrained DIY sound exploration. Often working with sampling and found sounds, he brings a painter's understanding of layering to his musical pieces, always feeling out the sweet spot where form initially emerges out of raw expression. An array of contributors with and without musical backgrounds helped Roeder to bring his sound vision to life.
Alongside acclaim from The Wire and Boomkat, 'Form & Feeling' has been championed by Jonnine Standish of HTRK as one of her favorite releases of 2023.
