"When Rouven, who drums for both ...And Then I Feel Nothing and erai, had decided to go and travel eastern Europe between June 2022 and February 2023, we considered it a good idea to record one song for each band before his departure. That way we would have a project to work on and finalize during his absence. It wouldn't have made much sense to book a studio for recording just two songs, so we rented some inexpensive microphones and recorded and later mixed both songs ourselves.
Meanwhile, we had to find a new singer, too, and by September we were fortunate enough to meet Andrey, who had just left his hometown Moscow for good. As it turns out, he had been running a recording studio full-time for the last 10 years.
