Three years after the release of their debut album "Caroline," their new album "Caroline 2" is now available. The group spent 18 months in various writing sessions in the UK, with most of the recording taking place at Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate. The album was produced by Jasper Llewellyn, Casper Hughes, Mike O'Malley, and Syd Kemp, mixed by Jason Agel, and mastered by Heba Kadry. The new album, "Caroline 2," begins with a loud guitar that sets the tone and, as it were, the direction for the new album. Caroline's sonic cosmos continues to be unfathomable, full of euphoric depths and musical pitfalls that draw you back to a comfortable soundscape. And yet, the new album also sounds unmistakably like the band that cannot be pigeonholed. In a way, Caroline's second album picks up where its predecessor left off—their grandiose, self-titled 2022 debut ended with "Natural Death," on which they also explored the possibilities of hypnotic guitar patterns—but in many other areas, they break new ground. The result is an album of extraordinary scope, where the organic and the artificial, the rough and the beautiful, the original and the blurred collide and connect with each other
