Boards Of Canada are among the most respected and influential electronic artists not only of the here and now, but of all time. The producer duo from Scotland is surrounded by a mystical aura, fed by extremely rare public appearances, rare interviews and almost exclusive communication with their fans about their musical output. The response to the first hints of a new release is correspondingly great. This now takes the form of "Tomorrow's Harvest", their first album in eight years, on which Boards Of Canada, isolated from the outside world, meticulously hone their vision of an electronic universe (or rather multiverse), so that new worlds, elements and constellations open up and reveal themselves to the interested listener again and again, even with repeated listening.
