Reissue of the first album, a milestone in black metal.
The original black/death masterpiece from 1984. An essential classic that welds Venom-styled primitive garage metal, Motorhead-ish rock abrasion, dark death-worshipping atmospheres, and prototypical Satanic lyrics and imagery. This is the album that began the Bathory legend, and influenced an entire generation of metal musicians with its blasphemous tones and chaotic, cruel, high speed compositions. Mandatory.
