Hailing from Hamburg, Kylmä Krypta continues to wander through the cold crypt, riding the waves of goth, post-punk, and new wave vibes with new material and re-recorded old gems. The band has grown, played a bunch of shows over the last year, and is hungry for more — and of course, ready to unveil their new material. They’ve already brought their dark Finnish post-punk atmosphere to Barcelona and Madrid this year, as well as haunting stages across Germany. Kylmä Krypta creates an 80s-inspired post-punk sound with lyrics in Finnish, drawing inspiration from the shadows of that era — bands like Belaboris, Musta Paraati, Kuudes Tunti, Xmal Deutschland and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
