BRANNTEN SCHNÜRE - Ei, Wir Tun Dir Nichts Zuleide! 7“ (New 2024 edition on the group's own label Quirlschlängle, originally released 2020 via I Dischi Del Barone. 6-track EP from the German experimental dark folk duo Brannten Schnüre. A shimmering, pastoral collage of acoustic instrumentation, electronics, field recordings and haunting, austere vocals, the songs on ‘Ei, Wir Tun Dir Nichts Zuleide!’ comes together to something quite astonishing and otherwordly. Luboš Fišer’s soundtrack to Valerie And Her Week Of Wonders comes to mind, as does the essence of Astrid Lindgren’s summer scenes with fragments of the ambience of something akin to Nico’s Desertshore) 18.00

ANADOL & MARIE KLOCK -  La Grande Accumulation LP (pinging - Anadol and Marie Klock have teamed up for a joint album, La grande accumulation. They met two years ago at a festival in England crowded with violent seagulls and outsider musicians. Klock being prone to barking on stage and Anadol not laughing at jokes she doesn’t find funny, they straight away had the intuition that they would meet again.) 32.00

ANIMA MUSICA & R. CARLOS NAKAI - Atlantic Crossing LP (back in stock - The strange thing about the music of Anima is that it’s often considered as strange, while it’s actually very natural. It has a free spirit, analog to nature. For this release the natural spirit is strengthened by the participation of indigenous American flute player and composer R. Carlos Nakai who did a series of concerts in the US and Europe with Paul and Limpe Fuchs in the 1980’s. As with almost all Anima work, the natural feel manifests itself not only by the musical approach and sounds generated by metal, wood, stone and air, but also by the absence of electronic devices. This LP is a reissue of a rare privately released cassette from 1988 and was recorded by the Bayerischer Rundfunk. May this slice of timeless free spirit be a trigger to more awareness concerning our decaying freedom.) 25.00

APHEX TWIN - Selected Ambient Works 85-92 DLP (apollo - Selected Ambient Works 85–92 is the debut album by the British electronic music producer Aphex Twin. It was released on 9 November 1992 through Apollo Records, a subsidiary of the Belgian label R&S Records. The album consists of ambient techno tracks that were recorded on cassette as early as 1985, when James was 13-14 years old. On release it received widespread acclaim and entered the Dance Albums Chart at No. 6 on 26 December 1992. Selected Ambient Works 85–92 is considered a classic, defining work of electronica. Music journalists have credited it with expanding the scope of ambient music and with introducing techno to fans of indie music. The website AllMusic described the album as "a masterpiece of ambient techno". Selected Ambient Works 85–92 has appeared on best-of lists; in 2012 the UK magazine Fact named it the greatest album of the 1990s. ) 30.00

BEN KACZOR & NICULIN BARANDUN - Pointed Frequencies LP (Ben Kaczor and Niculin Barandun reveal their debut album on Dial Records, dedicated to the healing properties of sound. "Pointed Frequencies" contains six mesmerizing compositions. The collaboration between Niculin Barandun and Ben Kaczor started in 2022 with a carte blanche for an audiovisual show at Digital Art Festival Zurich. While working on the performance, a common understanding of sound aesthetics emerged and the foundation for the duo’s project was laid. At that time Ben Kaczor studied sound therapy. Niculin Barandun was intrigued by the concept, and it became subject of the album's creation.) 28.00

BLOD - Helvetet På Jorden Skona Ingen Fast Gud Älskar Dig LP (discreet - With the intention of doing a proper and full out choir record, Helvetet På Jorden was initiated by Blod two years ago. While the finished album became something slightly different, it's a much more vocal-based record compared to its thematically linked predecessors Pilgrimssånger (2022) and Där Ska Barnet Vara (2023). Deeply influenced by Swedish church music and psalms, Helvetet På Jorden consists of 10 of the strongest and most fulfilled Blod songs to date, all dealing with the interaction between love and evil on planet earth. All instruments and music by Gustaf Dicksson, with vocals also by Anna Johannesson, Elin Engstrom, Gittan Kock, Myran Dicksson and Magnus Jäverling. With lyric booklet. Mastered by Joakim Karlsson.) 27.00

BLUEBOY - If Wishes Were Horses LP (a colorful storm - Blueboy followed their first two 7"s for Sarah Records with this 8-track mini-album recorded at the White House in Weston-super-Mare. With the twin guitars of Paul Stewart and (former Field Mouse) Harvey Williams providing an intricate framework for Keith Girdler's warm yet fragile voice and intimate lyrics, Candy Bracelet, Sea Horses and Amoroso built on those two singles to create beautiful, subtly euphoric pop songs. Cloud Babies and Happiness and Smiles, meanwhile, are more hauntingly melancholic, Gemma Townley's cello a wistful partner to Paul's acoustic guitar in underpinning Keith's heart-breaking words ("Is it like this, is it happiness and smiles going on for a hundred thousand million miles? Or is it sadder than the world will ever know, loneliness and knowing that you can't go..."). Gemma also wrote one song, Fondette, her spoken vocal – almost in conversation with Paul's classical guitar – producing a chilling reminder of an era poisoned by the Tory Party's homophobic Clause 28 legislation: "This is a country where it can be a criminal offence to wink“.) 26.00

BLUEBOY - Unisex LP (a colourful storm - Blueboy's first full-length LP for Sarah Records was recorded in a barn in Oxfordshire in a little under two weeks and, from opener So Catch Him – with its tumbling call-and-response chorus and Keith's winsomely accusatory "and did you care, when I cut my hair, 'cos I WANTED you to..." – to the twin-storm of guitars on regular set-closer Imipramine ("freaking out on Katy's bathroom, red tablets screwing you up..."), it's clear that the band were now able to effortlessly craft, create and polish to an immaculate sheen their mesmerising songs, without ever losing their warmth and humanity. The breadth of imagination across the dozen tracks is extraordinary: after trading vocals in extolling The Joy of Living’s jazzy, wry truths ("all I wanted to say is I'm so happy – of course it's not love, but I'm not choosy, I just want to kiss you in new places, to savour the joy of living, liking you..."), Keith and Gemma switch to telling their own fraught stories of love and sex simultaneously through left and right speakers on Fleetway; while beneath the taut guitar atmospherics of Lazy Thunderstorms, drifting and rainsoaked, the words are just a murmur in the waves ("scratching hope on your heart, scratching hope on your heart..."). Throughout, Keith’s lyrics are intimate, honest, personal and unforgettable. "You said boys don't matter," he sings with moist-eyed optimism over shimmering cascades of guitar. "It's a view I've held for years, all those evening running home in tears…“) 26.00

BLUEBOY - The Bank of England LP (a colorful storm - Blueboy's third and final album features a change in line-up from their Sarah Records days, with Cath Close joining on vocals, James Neville on bass and Ian Gardner on drums. Still at the band's heart, however, are singer Keith Girdler and guitarist Paul Stewart, with single Love Yourself – released a couple of years prior to the album, and described by Paul as "a huge glossy lament with multiple layers of keyboards and guitar" – featuring just the duo, along with Keris Howard from former Sarah act Brighter on keyboards. With the addition of the three new members, Blueboy's sound became more confident, forceful and less fragile, Paul's guitars often taking on a Britpop snarl and Keith's lyrics, although maybe less rawly personal than in the past, weaving imagery both beautiful and unsettling around heartfelt storytelling. The album also has its quieter moments, as you would expect: but although, at first listen, Chadwick's acoustic jazziness wouldn't sound too out of place on If Wishes Were Horses (the band's debut), Disco Bunny's pretty, picked guitar figures underlie a haunting and disquieting vocal. Cath takes lead on that track, as she does on several others, including gorgeous, languid opener Joined-up Writing. ) 26.00

CASS McCOMBS - Seed Cake On Leap Year LP (domino - Cass McCombs is back at Domino. Collection of previously unreleased songs will be released on November 8th, 2024. With "Seed Cake On Leap Year", Cass McCombs is releasing a collection of early, previously unreleased music recorded in Jason Quever's apartment at 924 Fulton Street in San Francisco while McCombs lived in Berkeley between 1999 and 2000. Everything that Cass McCombs' fans have come to love can be heard on "Seed Cake On Leap Year". Even at that time, he had mastered the graceful, floating melodies that seem to come from timeless songs from jukeboxes and transistor radios across America; as well as his profound, convoluted way of dealing with everyday language that can turn honest truths into riddles. "Songs are sung every day/So what can I say to find my own way?" he proclaims in the first line of "I've Played This Song Before". And with those words, he forges his own path, always rooted in tradition but embracing the unknown. What's remarkable about "Seed Cake On Leap Year" is how alive and raw these songs remain, full of insight and wonder, in dialogue with all that is yet to come. There's a raw honesty to this youth, and while this may be the rawest honesty Cass McCombs has ever allowed himself on an album, these songs only enhance and deepen the mystery) 28.00

CATHERINE CHRISTER HENNIX - Further Selections from the Electric Harpsichord LP (blank forms - Rediscovered and compiled for release shortly before her death in November 2023, Further Selections from the Electric Harpsichord presents a never-before-heard recording of composer and artist Catherine Christer Hennix’s early magnum opus. Originally debuted in 1976 at the festival Brouwer’s Lattice at Stockholm’s Moderna Museet, The Electric Harpsichord has steadily mystified fans and students of Western minimalist music for its implacable, transformative qualities, and the long-held, relative obscurity of its creator. Like the work of Hennix’s close friend La Monte Young, the piece is set in just intonation and focuses on the transcendental potentials of precise tuning, inspired by their studies with Pandit Pran Nath. Composed of bursts of oscillating, synthetic tones using a carefully retuned synthesizer and a tape-based system for feedback delay, the sounds swirl, twinkle, and appear to bend time, space, and perception. Additional, sustained chords on the sheng, most likely played by her Deontic Miracle bandmate Hans Isgren, are present at the opening of the piece and reemerge towards the end of the recording.) 30.00

DEUX FILLES - Double Happiness LP (our swimmer - back in stock - Deux Filles was not, in fact, two girls despite what the group name and its elaborate hoax of a backstory suggest. No, they were not Gemini Forque and Claudine Coule, French women who met as teenagers under tragic circumstances and became fast friends, recording two albums together before disappearing into the ether. In reality, Deux Filles was Simon Fisher Turner and Colin Lloyd Tucker, a UK duo who first worked together in an early incarnation of The The. Straddling the line between experimental and pop, Turner was an actor and teen singing star who later composed soundtracks for the iconic queer filmmaker Derek Jarman while Tucker’s career began as an engineer for the famed UK library music studio, De Wolfe, before forming experimental wave group The Gadgets. In Deux Filles, the duo found an outlet for their least commercial tendencies, combining lo-fi proto-dream-pop instrumentals with samples, tape experiments, ambient textures, and drum machines. Even in the vibrant, seemingly endless well of UK DIY, Deux Filles stand out.) 25.00

DIAMANDA GALAS - Saint of the Pit LP (The Saint of the Pit, Diamanda Galás’ fifth studio album and the second in her trilogy, The Masque of the Red Death, is an urgent record. Its theme is essentially passion, in the sense of suffering, although here, and unlike the passion of Christianity, there is little to offer solace. Re-released on Galás’ own Intravenal Sound Operations (ISO) after its initial release on Mute in November 1986, The Saint and the Pit is a masterpiece of witnessing, forged from grief and fury during the HIV-AIDS epidemic. While its precursor, The Divine Punishment (originally Mute, now ISO), released only five months before in June 1986, invoked Old Testament laws around the clean and the unclean, as a way of raging against the inhumanity of systemic neglect of people with HIV-AIDS, this album is focussed on a more interior response. The Saint of the Pit was an urgent record and now, nearly 40 years on, it remains an urgent record because, ultimately, its major theme is not limited to HIV-AIDs, but profound suffering. It is this music’s capacity to bear witness, to wrap a humanity around another’s pain, to hear that anguish, that gives The Saint and the Pit its continuing relevance.) 38.00

FELICIA ATKINSON - Space As An Instrument LP (shelter press - One of the universal experiences of life on Earth is staring, neck craned, at the cosmos. The vastness of one’s internal life meets the vastness of space, and in that moment those perspectives fuse in a state of wonder and curiosity. Space as an instrument, the new album by French artist and musician Félicia Atkinson, invites listeners to explore the phantasmic landscapes created in such transformative encounters, when the mind is open and receptive to its environment. Like being absorbed by the immensity of the night sky, this music dilates the imagination and helps us to sit comfortably in the mystery of the ineffable. We are guided through Space as an instrument by the piano, its alinear story told through restrained, iterative melodies that become entwined with the sounds at the music’s margins - a wisp of electronics, a pinprick of an enunciated consonant. They were recorded on Atkinson’s phone, which was placed next to the keys, or behind her, with the sound of the room bleeding through to give a sense of the place and time of the encounter. She describes these sessions as meetings where she and the piano commune to co-create these spiraling phrases and vaporous dissonances moment by moment. Complicating this dynamic is the presence of digital pianos, which exist in the surreal space of diodes and LED displays. They act as avatars of their three-dimensional counterparts: nowhere and everywhere simultaneously. ) 28.00

FOUR TET - New Energy DLP (text - New Energy is the producer’s ninth full-length, and it follows his Morning / Evening LP, which was released in 2015. Fourteen tracks deep, it spans Mr Hebden's production skills perfectly, dipping from ambient to downbeat to dance floor seamlessly, letting each track do it's thing. From the dusty break of Two Thousand And Seventeen to the bass drive of LA Trance via the melodic rush of Lush to the low end thud of Daughter - New Energy is full of warmth, atmosphere and magic. Add to that two signature Four Tet bangers - SW9 9SL and Planet and you got an end to end burner for sure.) 35.00

GARTH ERASMUS - Threnody for the KhoiSan LP (TAL - Edition of 400 copies, incl. printed inner sleeve - Garth Erasmus is an artist and musician based in Cape Town, South Africa. 'Threnody for the KhoiSan' is his first album under his own name. Since 1985 his artistic interests have broadened to include music-making, designing and making his own instruments based on indigenous KhoiSan knowledge. From 1999 to 2012 he was a member of the South African First Nation activist group Khoi Khonnexion. In the past couple of years Garth Erasmus has also been a pivotal part of various international performance pieces and exhibition projects which brought him regularly to Europe. Most of these activities were developed and performed in collaboration with the Hamburg based band Kante and his band Khoi Khonnexion. In April 2024 Garth Erasmus will be part of the group exhibtion 'Oscillations' at Akademie der Künste, Berlin.) 30.00

IRENE BIANCO -  Kronblade LP (permanent draft - Kronblade, the Danish word for “petals”, is Irene’s debut solo album. The album includes six instrumental electroacoustic tracks recorded in a studio in Copenhagen in November 2023. Kronblade music aims to explore the spontaneous and unconventional, leaving space for unpredictability and whimsicality. Most of the sounds, rhythms and melodies have been collected and composed over the last years, during travelling around cities, in nature and in Irene’s everyday life. The tracks present layers of flexible forms and have a large use of improvisation. The acoustic instrumentation includes mainly percussion, from vibraphone and vintage bass drums to metal objects, bells, shakers, paper carillon, wind-up toys and an old zeither. Electronic sounds, effects and field recordings have had a main role in the creation process, not as an opposition but as a fundamental, complement merging component. ) 33.00

ISAK HEDTJÄRN - Kvarpan LP (Isak Hedtjärn plays the clarinet — a straight, metal variant of the more common wooden B flat Clarinet. Kvarpan is Isak’s first ‘solo’ record, but you also hear him in ‘quartet’ with himself, too on this diverse suite of improvisations recorded ‘on location’ on a single day at Patons Malmgård — his usual practice spot just by where the ferries head over to Finland. We recorded until the throb of the boats and waiting cars took over. A polymath of undeniable musicality, Isak is a constant, always invigorating presence across a breadth of ‘scenes’ in Stockholm be it via in his own groups — Grismask, Svenska Folkjazzkvartetten, Festen — or making guest appearances in concert and on record with Viagra Boys, Fire! Orchestra, Rotem Geffen, Kali Malone and many many more. His online notoriety as @JazzIsak, the deft editor of a stream of classic jazz and tiktok dance/crash mashups is not only a riotous good time but gives you some other small window into the scope and scale of his knowledge of and feeling for all the music that has gone before.) 27.00

JAMES TENNEY - Postal Pieces LP (Blume - Marking its first decade of activity, Blume returns with the first ever vinyl release to attend to the seminal American composer James Tenney’s “Postal Pieces”, among the most important suites of 20th Century avant-garde composition. ** 300 copies. Color Vinyl. 140gr Audiophile pressing. Including printed inner sleeve housing a Nagaoka anti-static record sleeve, plus an original insert that functions as Obi. Comes with exact replicas of the original postcard graphic scores. **Since its founding back in 2014, Blume has carved a unique place in cultural landscape, issuing free-standing works, spanning the historical and contemporary, that represent singular gestures of creativity within the field of experimental sound. Joining their broad efforts in building networks of context and understanding that already includes the works by Werner Durand, Sarah Hennies, Bruce Nauman, John Butcher, Jocy de Oliveira, Mary Jane Leach, Valentina Magaletti, Alvin Curran, Julius Eastman, Alvin Lucier, and others, Blume return with the first ever vinyl release to attend to James Tenney’s legendary “Postal Pieces”, Marking the first ever appearance of five of the suite’s works - “Maximusic, for Max Neuhaus” (1965), “Having Never Written a Note for Percussion, for John Bergamo” (1971), “FFor Percussion Perhaps, or... [Night], for Harold Budd” (1971), “Cellogram, for Joel Krosnick” (1971), and “Beast, for Buell Neidlinger” (1971) - on vinyl, drawing upon recordings made in 2003, by the Amsterdam based ensemble, The Barton Workshop, under the direction of James Fulkerson. Among the most important and highly regarded efforts in Tenney’s canon of compositions, as well as within the history of 20th Century music, these five pieces represent a crucial bridge between Fluxus-oriented conceptualism, minimalism, and the microtonal complexities that would emerge in their wakes. Issued in a highly limited vinyl edition of 300 copies, it includes exact replicas of the original postcard graphic scores, and features newly commissioned liner notes by Bradford Bailey, Blume’s brand new edition takes great steps to centring Tenney at the eye the storm during some of experimental music’s most important years.) 30.00

JAYDEN MONT - s/t LP (frihetens - A collection of marvelous songs from the 13-year old Jayden Mont from Belle Vernon, PA, USA. Home recorded brilliance in the American lo-fi tradition of early K Records, Daniel Johnston, Shrimper stuff etc. Raw and heartfelt real music. Curation and sequencing by Gustaf Dicksson. Comes with a booklet containing the full e-mail conversation between Jayden and Gustaf leading up the record. Front cover artwork by Derek Erdman.Paste-on sleeves, edition of 300 copies.) 25.00

THE KLF - Chill Out LP (Clear w/ Milky Swirls Vinyl. Chill Out is the debut studio album by British electronic music group The KLF, released on 5 February 1990. It is an ambient-styled concept album featuring an extensive selection of samples, portraying a mythical night-time journey throughout the U.S. Gulf Coast states, beginning in Texas and ending in Louisiana. Chill Out was conceived as a continuous piece of music, with original KLF music interwoven with samples from songs by Elvis Presley, Fleetwood Mac, Acker Bilk, Van Halen, 808 State and field recordings of Tuvan throat singers. ) 45.00

LEAVING - Hidden View LP (LTD TO 100 - Leaving is the left-of-centre, electronics project of Rupert Thomas (Erasers), based in Perth, Western Australia. With a focus on hardware electronics, Thomas conjures immersive worlds of mood-driven synthesizer compositions that range from deep, slow moving ambience, to dense rhythms and hypnotic melodies. Forming over a decade ago as a home recording project on Whadjuk boodja (Perth, Western Australia), Thomas documented his early sound through a steady flow of CD-R’s and tapes before releasing his debut self-titled LP in 2020 via Good Company Records, a culmination of songs recorded between 2013-2017. In 2021 he contributed slow burner ‘Detached Lines’ to Deep Water Greenhouse ‘Greenhouse Vol. 1’ LP.  In the live realm, Leaving has shared the stage with the likes of Actress, Oneohtrix Point Never and Outer Space (Emeralds), sculpting a mesmeric sonic experience through deep drones, atmospheric synth and echoed drum machine interplay.) 30.00

LIMPE FUCHS - Pianoon LP (future resistenza - Renowned for her percussion genius, Limpe Fuchs surprises with a rare venture into her classical roots - the piano. Despite her extensive musical career, documented piano performances have been scarce until now. In this album she transcends time and expectation, diving into the instrument's essence. Her rhythmic finesse as a percussionist leaves an indelible mark on each keystroke. Join Fuchs on this intriguing late venture into the world of piano and savour every note on this unique and raw artistic encounter.) 28.00

LIMPE FUCHS & MARK FELL - Dessogia / Queetch / Fauch 3xLP (The 2015 edition of Winnipeg’s send + receive festival, focussed on rhythm, turned out to be a generative meeting of minds. There, Mark Fell encountered the music of Will Guthrie, a meeting that was eventually to result in the frenetic acoustic drumkit and digital synthesis pairing heard on Infoldings and Diffractions (2020). At the same festival, Limpe Fuchs first heard and appreciated the music of Mark Fell, planting the seed of a collaboration that came to fruition when Fell (along with his son Rian Treanor) visited Fuchs at her home in Peterskirchen, Germany in September 2022. Black Truffle is pleased to announce the release of the results of this extensive session in the audacious form of a triple LP, housing over two hours of music across its six sides.) 45.00

MOIN - You Never End LP (ad93 - You Never End is the third album from Moin (Valentina Magaletti, Tom Halstead and Joe Andrews) out via AD 93 on the 25th October.  This record marks Moin’s shift into a new phase with vocal collaborations across the album from Olan Monk, james K, Coby Sey and Sophia Al-Maria. The album’s collaborators all have voices that are alluring in their own right whilst hard to pin down: from james K’s ethereal, reverb drenched vocals, Coby Sey’s words that bounce and echo across London’s concrete streets and Olan Monk’s emotive songwriting, while artist Sophie Al-Maria’s voice and thoughts are known to stretch across her multidisciplinary practice as an artist, filmmaker and writer. The unique mystique of each collaborator is maintained throughout the record while simultaneously opening Moin up to new possibilities, in a gentle shifting alchemy.) 28.00

ROBERT RENTAL - Mental Detentions DLP (dark entries - Robert Rental takes up residence with Dark Entries again for a reissue of Mental Detentions. Robert Rental was a Scottish pioneer of DIY electronic music. Along with his illustrious collaborators like Thomas Leer and Daniel Miller, Rental helped shape the countercultural sound of the UK with his timely melding of Krautrock, dub, and punk. Originally from Port Glasgow, he moved to the south of England with Thomas Leer in the late 1970s, and became involved with the local music scene. Robert Rental however released very little of his solo music - the only solo recording from The 1970s is the 7" single "Paralysis" first released on the homemade Regular Records in 1978, and re-released on Dark Entries in 2020. ) 35.00

TACHYCARDIE - Musique Pour Structures Sonores Baschet LP (After a triptych released by Un je-ne-sais-quoi, in barely 3 years, under the name Tachycardie, Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, musician, composer but also visual artist, continues his very singular journey to the heart of sound matter, with an album composed on Baschet sound structures. From the 1950s, the Baschet brothers created a truly innovative set of instruments which has since fascinated musicians seeking new sound experiences. Both sculptures of glass, metal and instruments of great acoustic sharpness, these sound structures have made rare but remarkable forays into recordings of contemporary music (Bernard Baschet, Jacques Lasry, Luc Ferrari, Toru Takemitsu, Jonathan Fitoussi…). ) 28.00

TOMIN - A Willed and Conscious Balance LP (international anthem . Tomin’s debut full-length work, A Willed and Conscious Balance, answers a set of questions left unasked in recent years, as a new generation of artists re-energizes the tradition often referred to as “jazz” into its own directions: Where are the composers working with large ensembles? Who are the arrangers creating unexpected charts and dreaming up new orchestral sounds, layered tones and harmonically vibrant colors, the kind that have amended jazz’s “music for soloists” reputation since the swing era’s sunset? Yes, if you pay enough attention, you know that big-bands still walk the Earth, and composers are writing compelling charts for them; but they’re all-too-rarely making music that sounds both new and inviting, now and classic. ) 30.00

TRISTWCH Y FENYWOD - Tristwch Y Fenywod LP (night school - 2nd Press: Glow In The Dark Vinyl. Singing black-lit liturgies of bog bodies caked in mud, entranced by nocturnal landscapes flickering in the moon-glow and powered by queer enchantment, Tristwch y Fenywod are a Welsh-language gothic avant-rock power-coven. Exhumed from the depths of Leeds’ experimental underground, the trio consist of Gwretsien Ferch Lisbeth (Guttersnipe, The Ephemeron Loop), Leila Lygad (Hawthonn) and Sidni Sarffwraig (Slaylor Moon, The Courtneys). ) 33.00

V/A - New Music for Electronic and Recorded Media LP (blume - Marking its first decade of activity, Blume returns with the first ever vinyl reissue of the seminal “New Music for Electronic and Recorded Media”, from 1977, the third and final instalment in a suite of releases that includes James Tenney’s “Postal Pieces” and Ben Vida’s “Vocal Trio”. Unquestionably among the most important collections of experimental music to emerge during the 20th Century, “New Music for Electronic and Recorded Media” is the original feminist presentation in its context, releasing the work of Johanna M. Beyer, Annea Lockwood, Pauline Oliveros, Laurie Spiegel, Megan Roberts, Ruth Anderson, and Laurie Anderson under its collective banner. Includes newly commissioned liner notes by Jennifer Lucy Allen and Bradford Bailey. ** 300 copies. Color Vinyl. 140gr Audiophile pressing. Comes with a large booklet including newly commissioned liner notes by Bradford Bailey and Jennifer Lucy Allen. **) 30.00

V/A - Musik Vom Nebengleis LP (quirlschlängle -Incredible compilation assembled by, and including nonetheless than Brannten Schnüre. Gathering together unreleased tracks by Vox Populi! Limpe Fuchs, Läuten der Seele, Christoph Heeman and more, this is the most pleasant surprise we could get from Quirlschlängle. Still two months before Christmas, but the greatest gift is already here. "Nebengleis“ is one of those strange and rare German words that seem to be born both out of the dust of a bureaucratic, functional grammar and a wild yearning to escape the tight fabric of this material world. „Nebengleis“ translates as „side-track“, the track on which abandoned and unused waggons are being left upon. Waiting to be pulled out into the blue of distance again or slowly corroding, fragmentising within the uncoiling threads of time. For a while, for ever. Unnoticed, unhinged. Not seen by the tired eyes of the busy day-to-day traveller that hops on this train, that train, always running from the main-track. Inspired by the almost cosmogonal qualities of obscure and cult compilations like „Terra Serpentes“ or „Music The World Does Not See“ and guided by an infallible artistic instinct, Christian Schoppik (Brannten Schnüre / Läuten der Seele) has curated a record that flourishes with an unconditional love for things that are otherwise unseen, tales that are untold, small fabulous creatures that are stuck in between this world and the pantheon of better-canonised mythologies. There rests a funny haziness between the semantics of the words to curate, to care and to cure. Cure what?, you will ask. An unearthly frightfulness to be at wrong pace with the rest of the world. And then take this fright and turn it into a celebration, a paean to all the crooked, hidden ways of being creative, of being otherwise alive. Making music on the side-track however doesn't necessarily mean to be structurally marginalised by whatever powers are in control to do so. If there is a programmatic aspect to this compilation it's clearly not a political one but something that is purely poetic. „Musik vom Nebengleis“ is an inter-generational and inter-continental gathering of artists whose spiritual kinship runs deep into near-mythical terrain and transcends the limitations of genre or being part of any particular scene. The first side of the record is introduced by a soft spoken love poem, recited in Farsi by Mitra from legendary French ethno-industrial outift Vox Populi!. Much like Christoph Heemann (Hirsche Nicht Aufs Sofa) and Limpe Fuchs(Anima-Sound) Vox Populi! have continously shaped their very own oblique artistic language within the experimental underground for several decades already. But there is also a younger generation of „Nebengleis“ artists, probably much influenced by the aforementioned names, and waiting to be discovered by those with eyes to see and ears to hear.) 27.00

AYAMI SUZUKI - Vista Tape TAPE (Cosima Pitz - It is a special piece that contains live recordings of improvisations by Ayami Suzuki she wrote / created  in the forest and the sea. ) 13.00

JON COLLIN - Peugeot 205 TAPE (Cosima Pitz - For the second time, Jon Collin recorded music on base of a photographic zine by Maximilian Rossner. This time the photographs of RALLYE are capturing spurs and traces on and by vehicles — acting as sort of metaphors for a happening in- and outside of awareness. It also might have become a reminiscence to an old Peugeot 205, where Jon listened to a lot of tapes in in the late 90s/early 00s and therefore recorded everything to tape because he wanted it to sound like a car stereo…enjoy, obrigada, Cosima) 13.00

MUSEUM OF NO ART - A Serpent Called Emit TAPE (Cosima Pitz - Museum Of No Art is the pseudonym of the artist and musician Mona Steinwidder. The pieces on the album A Serpent Called Emit document a two-year engagement with the clarinet and other woodwind instruments. In the search for simplicity, one encounters complexity. But the Museum discovers connections between the poles and lets them circle around each other. Impurities have found their place in it and hard cuts are intended to underline the volatility of the moment, to highlight and admire imperfection.) 13.00

SCHATTERAU - s/t TAPE (Cosima Pitz - Subtle, yearning, waving miniatures — circulated on invisible tracks through a 4-track cassette recorder, countless times. Self-reflecting, time-shifting, seeking lyric poetry unravelling in fog and sizzling noise, drifting on the baltic sea. A warm, bitter-sweet and healing diary, written to be never read, again. Debut by Schatterau, consisting of Daniel Jahn, Jonas Meyer and Tobias Rutkowski.) 13.00
