ANGELS OF LIGHT - We Are Him DLP (mute - Remastered edition of 'We Are Him ', part of the first instalment of the Angels Of Light reissues on Mute. "Michael Gira formed Angels Of Light after the conclusion of Swans in 1997. We Are Him was initially released in 2007 and features Akron/Family (Dana Janssen, Miles Seaton Cooper, Seth Olinsky and Ryan Vanderhoof), along with Kristof Hahn, Phil Puleo and Bill Rieflin. The record is about getting by and trying to survive with a family and a faith at a time when “the dogs...howl as the street fills with blood.” - Micheal Gira/Young God Records. On the making of the album, Michael Gira says “We Are Him began with my usual vows to keep things simple this time, finally, and I failed once again to live up to the task. I went into the studio with Akron/Family as backing band (as they had been on Other People). We recorded all the basic tracks in a week. They played drums, bass, guitar, piano, and backing vocals. Despite Akron's valorous efforts and fine performances, things sounded thin and tentative to me, so I started calling my friends to help me flesh things out.”) 35.00

ANGELS OF LIGHT - The Angels Of Light Sing “Other People” LP (mute - Remastered edition of 'The Angels of Light Sing ‘Other People’', part of the first instalment of the Angels Of Light reissues on Mute. "Michael Gira formed Angels Of Light after the conclusion of Swans in 1997. The Angels Of Light Sing “Other People” was released in 2005, produced by Gira and featured Akron/Family (Dana Janssen, Miles Seaton Cooper, Seth Olinsky and Ryan Vanderhoof). On the making of the album, Michael Gira says “This album is different in many ways than what I’ve done in the past. There’s no general band “sound” here. The instrumentation is arranged in each song to fit the subject. Each song is its own world, a place for the people in the songs to live. I intentionally eschewed long instrumental passages, crescendos, that sort of thing – I’ve done enough of that, and I’m tired of it. The songs say what they have to say, then end.“) 28.00

ASTRID ØSTER MORTENSEN - Gro Mig En Blomst LP (grapefruit - We first heard the Danish artist Astrid Øster Mortensen as a surprise guest vocalist on Gustaf Dicksson’s Blod album, Missväxt, which Grapefruit released in 2021. New in Gothenburg, the Denmark-born Astrid had been frequenting the Discreet Music shop where various musicians of the underground scene communed and shared their latest projects. Learning that she was a musician too, Gustaf asked Astrid to contribute vocals to Missväxt and it wasn’t long before Astrid handed over a master of her own music which completely floored everyone in the scene who heard it. The recordings eventually materialized as “Gro Mig En Blomst.” An LP which was released in a very small edition on Gustaf’s Förlag För Fri Musik label in March of 2021, causing a sensation of wonder and well-earned praise and some panic due to its scarcity. ) 28.00

BATHOUSE - Bathouse LP (happiest place - Did you say Bath-House?", was the initial response when I proudly announced to a Norman-troglodyte about the newest, ear blastingest, front-over-sideways puke-a-thon noise-rocking trio Bathouse from Malmö (Swe). With members and collaborators from the city's most note-worthy musical ventures today - from Mary Anne's Polar Rig, Smiling, War In Youth, Boiling Point or wathever - Denise, Jesper & Philip have together tapped in to music of the past - in their own, new way! "Bathouse" is the band's first full-length album. For fans of : The Hospitals, Brainbombs, Country Teasers, Tyvek or a popped out Harry Pussy!) 27.00

BEDHEAD - Transaction de Novo LP (numero - Original 1998 album remastered and pressed on 180 gram virgin vinyl. “I met them in full flower, in the depths of their mania, pursuing contemplative music with the kind of intensity normally found in psychopaths. No detail was too small to sweat, no crack in the veneer not worth gluing and clamping. We built a common language, equal parts philosophy, rock music, and disdain for the dullness around us.”—Steve Albini, on recording Transaction De Novo) 23.00

BRÖTZMANN / VAN HOVE / BENNINK - Jazz In Der Kammer Nr.71 DLP (Trost - Peter Brötzmann - alto/ tenor saxophon - Fred van Hove - piano - Han Bennink - drums - The first concert of Brötzmann / Van Hove / Bennink in East Germany - 4.11.1974, Deutsches Theater, Berlin recorded by the Radio for the series "Jazz in der Kammer" Nr 71. recorded by Radio GDR, Berlin produced by Brötzmann mastering 2021 by Martin Siewert artwork/design by Brötzmann/Untiet Linernotes by Bert Noglik, Translation by Jep Bishop.) 35.00

BRUTUS - unision life LP (Belgian trio Brutus have already made a name for themselves with their raucous and raw music topped off by the voice of drummer Stefanie Mannaerts. This time round they produce a visceral work that examines all the stuff that gets us down in the first place rather than trying to find an inner peace. It's a wild, cobweb-destroying ride. ) 30.00

CARLA DAL FORNO - Come Around LP (Kallista - Carla dal Forno falls under the singer-songwriter and electronic musician umbrellas, but either tag wouldn't really be doing her justice. Her third album 'Come Around' is released via her own Kallista Records imprint, and hears her minimalist synth-led sound meet post-punk inspired hooks. Track three is a cover of psychedelic innovators The United States of America's 'The Garden of Earthly Delights’.) 28.00

CERBERUS SHOAL - Cerberus Shoal (Anniversary Edition) LP (temporary - Toasted Peach coloured vinyl - Genre polymaths Cerberus Shoal kicked off their fifteen-year career in 1995 with an eponymous mini-album, featuring a visionary melding of post-rock, post-hardcore and first-wave emo. ‘Cerberus Shoal’ is now available with a digital-only bonus track (a half-hour instrumental, no less) and extensive liner notes exploring a fascinating debut.) 30.00

CERBERUS SHOAL - ...And Farewell To Hightide (Deluxe Expanded Edition) DLP (temporary - Sky Blue colored vinyl - Released originally in 1997, ‘...And Farewell To Hightide’ was the second studio album from Boston experimental rockers Cerberus Shoal, and the point at which they began to gain serious momentum and acquire their cult following. Dropping the comparatively straightforward post-hardcore approach of their 1995 debut, this ambitious album encompassed elements of post-rock and pop. This expanded edition comes with the contemporaneous EP ‘Lighthouse In Athens’, plus extensive liner notes and images.) 33.00

DEAN BLUNT - Heavy Metal LP (re issue - Finally reissued! Black Metal is an album by British musician Dean Blunt, released by Rough Trade Records in 2014. The album features vocals from Blunt and frequent collaborator Joanne Robertson. Musically, Black Metal features more traditional pop song structures than Blunt's previous work, but is diverse in instrumentation and genre. The album includes elements of indie pop, folk pop, Americana, dub, ambient, grime, drone, and dancehall. Critics have also noted the prose of Blunt's lyrics as being similar to contemporary hip hop lyrics, which often reflect that of dark subjects like infidelity and alcoholism.

DEZRON DOUGLAS & BRANDEE YOUNGER - Force Majeure LP (international anthem - finally back in print - Force Majeure is an uplifting suite of real, soulful comfort music – an album that cathartically encapsulates an all-too-familiar human experience of 2020. Featuring 11 pieces performed by bassist Dezron Douglas & harpist Brandee Younger across a series of live-streamed shows from their living room in Harlem, NY, the album was self-recorded by the duo using just a single microphone. The same day Governor Andrew Cuomo shut down “non-essential” businesses throughout the state of New York, Douglas & Younger set up a window to the world that would prevail as a weekly musical reprieve over the devastating weeks and months to come. As the early effects of covid-19 plagued the citizens of New York City, Douglas & Younger did as we were all ordered to do — shelter-in-place. From their apartment in Harlem, their reflex as players and community-builders was immediate. Broadcasting via social media and spreading the word to friends and family, the duo hosted “Force Majeure: Brunch in the Crib with Brandee & Dezron,” a Friday morning live stream where they performed songs, said “hi” to friends tuning in, and passed a digital tip jar. The name “force majeure” — known to diligent contract-readers as a seldom-invoked bit of legalese that voids commitments in event of “extraordinary circumstances” — was, for Douglas & Younger, a reference to the sudden loss of livelihood that they and their musician peers suffered in the wake of covid-19. ) 28.00

DREAM UNENDING - Song Of Salvation LP (20 buck spin. The 2021 Dream Unending debut album ‘Tide Turns Eternal’ was a marked shift in musical ambition for Derrick Vella (Tomb Mold) and Justin DeTore (Innumerable Forms, Sumerlands). While structured with a foot firmly in Death / Doom, a far loftier purpose and progressivism was its hallmark, as such distancing itself from others pursuing the style. Now returning only a year later with the stunning ‘Song of Salvation’, that exploratory zeal is given substantially greater allowance to soar and shine. The 14 minute title track opener enters like a morning sunrise over a calm sea before ramping up into ethereal heaviness like the richly textured waves of a sudden ocean storm. The songs momentum never retreats into laborious repetition, always opening new doorways, ebbing and flowing like river water from its source. Like solitarily gazing at the downtown lights of the city at night from the window of a darkened room, ’Secret Grief’ features the guest talents of vocalist Phil Swanson and Leila Abdul-Rauf on trumpet, further widening the breadth of musical talent involved and the sweep of “Song of Salvation’s” distinctive narrative. The tranquil interlude of ‘Murmur Of Voices’ gives way to the evocative ‘Unrequited’ that begins with a lonely solo guitar before transitioning into a drifting daze of afternoon reverie and subconscious meditation. ) 28.00

DRESS - s/t LP (förläg - Edition of 500 + 16-page booklet *By the mid-1990s, there was a quietly thriving underground in Wellington, New Zealand, made up of a number of loosely aligned operatives - Surface of The Earth and their World Resources imprint; Fever Hospital and 8 Dec, and the music made by the members of The Garbage & the Flowers after that group temporarily dissolved in 1992..." One of those rather short-lived groups was Dress, who on record consisted of Yuri Frusin and Helen Johnstone from The Garbage & the Flowers and Kristen Wineera from Entlang. Their sole release was a lathe cut 10" released in 1995 on their own label Hell On in a total run of 120 copies. Fördämning Arkiv here presents those wonderfully puzzling tracks to a wider audience, now pressed as a 45rpm 12" with the original recordings remastered for vinyl by Ben Wright Smith. While the ambience is kind of similar to what was going on in early The Garbage & the Flowers stuff, the music that was made by Dress was very different: improvised and non-song-based but kept in place by repetition and odd melodies.) 22.00

DRY CLEANING - Stumpwork LP (4AD - After their acclaimed debut ‘New Long Leg’ finished highly in practically every major publication’s best of 2021 lists, Dry Cleaning present a quick-fire follow-up in ‘Stumpwork’. In the spirit of not tinkering with a formula that isn’t broken, the quartet returned to Rockfield Studios with John Parish behind the production desk. Florence Shaw’s surreal sprechgesang is couched in an even wider range of musical influences this time around, from alt-pop bangers to cold, ambient noise.) 28.00

ENGÜRDETZ - Sillmjölke LP (happiest place - First time on vinyl pressing of Engürdetz' 1988 release Sillmjölke, originally accompanied by Lille Roger's 'Rock N Roll 85-86'. 500 copies. ’Sillmjölke’ differed from the duo’s previous outputs. The tracks had moved closer into the formula of a ”standard” song formula & the influences from British industrialists such as Whitehouse had become more apparent, along with sections that made your mind venture to the freer & ambient sides of Swell Maps (even if they didn’t necessarily know who Swell Maps were at the time). For the first time ever, this last effort from one of Sweden’s originators of True Swedish Industrial will be widely available on vinyl) 27.00

FIRESIDE - Bin Juice LP (startracks - "Fireisde sweden"s supreme indierockers (back then it was called emo-core) are back with their first studioalbum since 2003. Kristofer Åström on vocals singing better then ever. Pelle Gunnerfeldt studiowizard and producer of (The Hives, Viagra Boys) here on guitar have written some of the very best Fireside songs. Guitardriven indierock with layers of sounds but still clean and melodic. There will be a digital single "Jungle Knuckle" released sep 9 but for now this is a vinyl only release, no digital release“) 27.00

FLORE LAURENTIENNE - Volume II LP (rvng - Flore Laurentienne is an instrumental project established by Canadian composer Mathieu David Gagnon. Drawing inspiration from the waterways and wildlife of his native Quebec, ‘Volume II’ follows the 2019 original in sculpting vivid, contemporary classical soundscapes from orchestral elements, including a huge string ensemble. Like ‘Volume I’, sales benefit the Saint-Laurent Action Fund conserving the area’s natural beauty and ecosystems.) 28.00

GILLA BAND - Most Normal LP (rough Trade - Their first album since changing their name from Girl Band in late 2021, Dublin-based post-punkers Gilla Band drastically shift direction with ‘Most Normal’. Embracing industrial noise and hip-hop production (among other ideas) as part of a self-imposed diktat of doing things they’d never tried before, they’ve come up with a thrilling mixture of dark-hearted dystopian moshers and dancefloor bangers.( 26.00

GLÜME - The Internet LP (Italiens do it better - Produced by Italians Do It Better boss Johnny Jewel, Glüme's debut is the expected buzz of retro electroid vocal-led pop - one for fans of Desire, Sally Shapiro or Chromatics. Glüme hasn't had an easy road to stardom - she knew she wanted to be a star when she was just a child, and after early dance lessons and a litany of auditions she scored roles in a number of movies. But she wasn't exactly what Los Angeles was looking for, and after shock spell in hospital she was diagnosed with Prinzmetal Angina, a rare heart disease - she figured her career was over. Chronically sick, Glüme began to play out her life on the internet, making music on a laptop and microphone with her friend Huntington and living vicariously through Instagram and TikTok. When she noticed a "submit demo" button on the Italians Do It Better" she knew she had to send her tracks, and quickly got a reply from the label - next thing she knew, Glüme was working with Johnny Jewel and developing her demos into full tracks, recording music videos and rebuilding her life as the self-styled "Walmart Marilyn Monroe“.) 38.00

HORSE LORDS - Comradely Objects LP (rvng - American avant-garde rock explosion Horse Lords are another band whose direction has been affected by the pandemic. Lockdown forced them to refine their music in the studio rather than on the road and therefore their latest album 'Comradely Objects' is less built around road-ready experimental rock and veers closer to free jazz introducing new elements into their already dizzying sound.  ) 28.00

IRREVERSIBLE ENTANGLEMENTS - Open The Gates DLP (international anthem - finally back in stock - Irreversible Entanglements’ third full-length album OPEN THE GATES is ethereal shards of jagged onyx, a melancholic exploration of the post-colonial debris that surrounds us. Let’s watch and listen, as this platter snakes through the sandy ashes of possible histories, dialogs with a nervous present, and asks to be birthed into a holographic new future. “Together in holy sound!” the band stitches patient anthems out of atmosphere. Pulling from a wider sonic vocabulary than on previous excursions, the agit-jazz found here is simultaneously pre- and post-apocalypse, as bass lurches in a tranced-out loop, horns are up in the track grooves like poltergeists playing in the streets, poetry cascades like a warrior call at a satsang, the drums both wild and refined pulse with uhuru-heart cadence. This is Irreversible Entanglements on new ground; same as the old ground. ) 32.00

JASMINE MYRA - Horizons LP (Jasmine Myra is a saxophonist, composer and band leader, based in Leeds. Part of the bustling, creative, cross-genre music scene in Leeds (she attended Leeds Conservatoire) Jasmine has surrounded herself with some of the best young talent in the city. Her original instrumental music has a euphoric and uplifting sound, influenced by artists as diverse as Kenny Wheeler, Bonobo, Olafur Arnalds and Moses Sumney – artists whose music shares an emotive quality that you can also hear in Myra’s compositions. Her first break came in 2018, when just one year after graduating she was selected to take part in Jazz North Introduces, a scheme that supports emerging jazz artists in the North of England. Shortly afterwards her music came to the attention of Gondwana Records boss Matthew Halsall, whose keen ear for talent helped bring the music of GoGo Penguin, Mammal Hands and Hania Rani to the wider world. Halsall explains:  “I was immediately drawn to Jasmine’s music. I could hear jazz, electronica in her music but with a deep, honest, emotional quality. I was really impressed with her skills as a composer and bandleader, that she is open and intelligent enough to bring all those influences together, to make something fresh and original. We were also delighted to work with a young artist from the North of England. London is often seen as the place to be, but cities like Manchester and Leeds are full of creative musicians too, and that sense of local community is at the heart of our values as a label.” ) 28.00

JORJA CHALMERS - Midnight Train LP (col. vinyl) (Italians do it better - Jorja Chalmers follows up 2019's critically acclaimed release, "Human Again" with her Sophmore release, "Midnight Train". The album has been described as an ethereal masterpiece with Jorja's signature at the centre. Fogged out synthesizers chase locomotive rhythms in a duel to the death between her siren wail and her saxophone. Nocturnes for the 21st century.) 38.00

LEVANDE DÖD - Ingen Framtid LP (happiest place - Levande Död's follow-up album to the highly praised 2019 debut album 'Upp Till Kramp' - properly or not titled 'Ingen Framtid' (eng. 'No Future'). Consistently recorded during the fall of 2020, in contrast to 'Upp Till Kramp' which was recorded over the series of multiple years, sessions & constellations - the record captures a time with it's surroundings in pandemonium, tightly made with the quartet who make out Levande Död today. The result - an album similar to nothing else before or, probably, to come! What you will recognize are the masterfully executed lyrics of E. Lahti, the musical intensity of yester-years - with the maturity which two years & a pandemic greets you.) 27.00

LUCRECIA DALT - ¡Ay! LP (rvng - On her eighth studio album ‘¡Ay!’, Colombian artist Lucrecia Dalt explores the sounds and musical influences of her childhood. Aspects of bolero, mambo, salsa, cumbia and merengue form the melodic skeletons of these pieces, which bind themselves to Dalt’s experimental, digitally-rendered sounds. For fans of post-’Vespertine’ Björk and Laurie Anderson.) 27.00

LUSTER - Luster LP (morc - LP comes with screenrprinted and letter pressed sleeves. Ten years in the making, finally the debut album of this belgian sextet with members of Mote, Joe Speedboat and Annelies Monseré arrives. Cello, flute, harmonium and violin blend in with the traditional guitar-bass-drums trio – making them land on a unique spot at the crossroad where ancestral doom folk, heady dronerock and spacious pop seamlessly meet. Often repetive, always mesmerizing and evocative. Kind of the missing link between Mazzy Star, Pentangle, Broadcast and Enhet for Fri Musik.) 23.00

MAGNUS JÄVERLING – Bowdark LP (discreet- Limited edition of 500 copies.* Bowdark is the name of a fictitious town somewhere in the USA. After a comet hits the town, mysterious things starts to happen. The Gothenburg-based artist Magnus Jäverling started to develop the concept and story around 2016, which included a scale model of the town and now the culmination of the project; his 10-track debut album. Recorded between 2016 and 2022, the album is a epic and dramatic journey through the peculiar lives and happenings in Bowdark. While musically being rooted in the synthesized and atmospheric tradition of Fabio Frizzi, John Carpenter and the ilk, there's something strikingly Scandinavian about the eerie and icy cold compositions. The record is accompanied by a folder with loose sheets mapping out the strange events in Bowdark.) 27.00

ROXANE METAYER / PEFKIN - split LP (morc - Mutual admirers of each other’s work, these titans of Scottish and French dronefolk team up for a split lp – 2 tracks by Pefkin, 3 by Roxane Métayer. The fact that these like-minded artists explore the boundaries of what connects them, makes it a very exciting release. The Pefkin side is Gayle at her most melodic, whereas Roxane goes down a poetic and rhythmical path. Dream combo. The album is pressed on high-quality german vinyl, in a full color sleeve. complete with download coupon, in an edition of 300 copies.) 23.00

SAIGON SOUL REVIVAL - Ha Âm Xưa LP (saigon - Saigon Soul Revival has been on a quest to reawaken the raw, enchanting sounds of 1960s and 70s Vietnam; a time when passionate music resonated in Saigon's streets and clubs with messages of love, heartache, hope and freedom. Amongst the turmoil of war, there was a rich cultural climate that fused popular genres of the day like rock, soul and bolero with Vietnamese music and lyrics. This fusion of sounds that bridged east and west became forbidden after the fall of Saigon in 1975 and almost vanished. Four decades later Saigon Soul Revival was born with the initial purpose of bringing these dormant sounds back to the stage. After numerous live performances over the last 3 years, the band has developed their own sound and now, with the release of their debut album “Ha Âm Xưa”, they are ready to share it with the rest of the world. The 11 track LP, including original compositions and nostalgic reinterpretations, blends traditional Vietnamese elements with modern concepts, featuring pre ‘75 and current artists, all while remaining firmly rooted in the “nhc vàng” (golden music) of the time. Meaning “Old Harmonies”, Saigon Soul Revival is proud to present “Ha Âm Xưa” as a tribute to the artists and composers of the time that inspired them to create this marriage between past and present.) 24.00

SALLY SHAPIRO - Sad Cities DLP  (Italians do it better - The name “Sally Shapiro” refers to both the Swedish duo, consisting of composer & producer Johan Agebjörn and an anonymous singer, as well as the pseudonym of the singer herself. Both live in Lund, Sweden. Little is known about the person behind Sally Shapiro, whose real name is something else. So far she has been too shy to record a music video or to perform live. When once asked what she does other than singing, she replied: "I dance all nights long on small disco clubs and walk in the moonshine thinking about my love affairs.“ "The duo’s sumptuous melodies and expertly crafted songwriting ensures that Sad Cities is an early contender for synthpop album of 2022." Future Music Magazine  "Sad Cities is the best kind of comeback album; one that has just the right amount of nostalgia baked into the grooves, but also adds in new sounds and approaches. Shapiro and Agebjörn certainly do that and the album is a reminder of just how good heartbreak disco can sound when delivered by people who understand it so well." AllMusic (4/5) ) 46.00

SPECIAL INTEREST - Endure LP (rough trade - ‘Endure’ is the third album by New Orleans band Special Interest. The pulsating sounds within these grooves blend elements of The B-52’sand Sparks with politically changed lyrics, eloquent guitar work and propulsive bass lines. Whilst the band try to evade genre pigeonholing, fans of dance punk should check this out.) 27.00

SPRUNG AUS DEN WOLKEN - s/t LP Re Issue (bureau B -The Berlin project Sprung Aus Den Wolken was part of the "Geniale Dilletanten" movement in the early 1980s, along with Einstürzende Neubauten and Mechanik Destrüktiw Komandöh. The band first released an EP on ZickZack in 1981, followed by further releases on the band's own record label Faux Pas in 1982 and 1983, then on the French outlet Les Disques Du Soleil Et De L'Acier until 1991. The track Pas Attendre was part of the soundtrack of Wim Wender’s movie Der Himmel über Berlin and thus became an underground hit. Founder of the band Kiddy Citny is also a painter. His paintings of the Berlin Wall have been exhibited around the world and are now in private collections in the US, France and Japan. Bureau B is pleased to finally make the long out-of-print, self-titled album from 1982 available again. Carefully remastered, with reconstructed original artwork, numerous photos and liner notes by Alexander Hacke.) 25.00

STRYCHNOS - A Mother's Curse LP (dark descent - Danish extreme metal veterans STRYCHNOS reveal their long-awaited debut ‘A Mother’s Curse’ on Colorado Springs’ Dark Descent Records. Formed in 1997 by Martin Leth Andersen (also of Undergang fame), STRYCHNOS might just be the Danish underground’s best kept secret. ‘A Mother’s Curse’ is the product of a craft perfected over 25-years of toil, a true celebration of extreme metal mastery that surpasses all genre limitations.) 30.00

THE SUPER DJATA BAND - En Super Forme Vol. 1 LP (numero - Connecting Wasulu hunter music, griot praises, pastoral Senufo dances, Fula and Mandingo repertoire with western psychedelia, blues, and Nigerian afro-beat, Zani Diabaté's Super Djata Band was among Mali's top orchestras. Tracked live inside Radio Mali's cozy environs in January 1982, En Super Forme was briefly available via Côte d'Ivoire's Musique Mondiale imprint. The album centers around Diabaté and his electric guitar's pyrotechnics, a relentless shredder that stands shoulder to shoulder with Mali's fingerstyle gods Ali Farka Touré and Djelimady Tounkara.) 30.00

TAKEHISA KOSUGI & AKIO SUZUKI - New Sense Of Hearing LP (blank forms - Available from Blank Forms for the first time since its original 1980 release on ALM-Uranoia, New Sense of Hearing documents a collaboration between Takehisa Kosugi and Akio Suzuki, two luminaries of Japanese experimental music in the lineage of Fluxus. Blank Forms's high-quality reissue of the sought-after, long out of print LP, is produced by musician-artist Aki Onda and mastered from the original tapes recorded on April 2, 1979, at Tokyo's Aeolian Hall. Described by Suzuki as the "culmination" of their sound,New Sense of Hearing features the two musicians improvising together in that empty Tokyo theater, Kosugi on vocals, violin, and radio transmitter and Suzuki on the Analapos, his namesake glass harmonica, spring cong, and kikkokikiriki, all apparatuses of his own invention. Suzuki and Kosugi first met at the city's Minami Gallery in 1976 on the occasion of "Sound Objects and Sound Tools," an exhibition of Suzuki's homemade instruments. Two years later, at the Festival d'Automne in Paris, Suzuki invited Kosugi to join him for a suite of performances as part of the exhibition "MA: Espace - Temps au Japon," organized by architect Arata Isozaki and composer-writer Toru Takemitsu. Suzuki and Kosugi performed together at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, nearly fifty times, honing their approach to mutual improvisation, before traveling with the exhibition to Stockholm and New York_critic Tom Johnson wrote in the Village Voice that he had "seldom seen two performers so completely tuned in on the same types of sounds, the same performance attitude, the same philosophy, the same sense of what music ought to be."For New Sense of Hearing, the duo reunited in Japan and produced an extraordinary dispatch from their collaboration of arioso violin, echoing vocals and bangs, and metallic twangs.) 30.00

TREASURY OF PUPPIES -  Treasury of Puppies LP Re Issue (digital regress - Treasury Of Puppies is a new Gothenburg duo made up of Charlott Malmenholt and Joakim Karlsson. Recorded during the first half of 2020, their 8-track debut album for Förlag För Fri Musik brings together a vast amount of influences into something overpowering and genuinely immersive. Treasury Of Puppies approaches a tradition of text-sound compositions with bruised knees and a slingshot behind the back, merging lush Delia Derbyshire-like radioplay-styled narration, the crudeness of unsung cassette underground heroes like Roberta Eklund and the uncompromising methods of early The Shadow Ring stuff. Under the spoken word and occasional singing lies synths, indolent guitars, tape manipulations and a sparse use of field recordings. Part themes from Eastern Bloc children television atmosphere, part private pressed shimmering new age gold, part lobotomized rock n roll/music of a natural high. A future classic right here. Featuring a guest appearance by Elin Engström and mastered by Giuseppe Ielasi.) 26.00

TRINITAS - Total Heresy LP  (VAN - Trinitas is the unholy alliance of Three hailing the old spirit of Black Metal. The triangle of flames is heading from Germany and Sweden. Members are Vargher (Guitars, Bass, Additional Vocals), Tormentor (Drums) and Azathoth (Necromantical Screams, Lyrics). The idea for Trinitas came up in the year 2012. All three members knew each other for quite some years at that point due to their other band activities. From the beginning on it was clear, that Trinitas should be a tribute to the Black Metal movement of the early 90s. Therefore the music is raw and in a way primitive – a conscious opposite pole to what people call Black Metal nowadays. There is nothing progressive what so ever in the music of Trinitas and the lyrics only deal with death and the devil – just the way it was meant to be back in the days. A tribute to a time, when Black Metal was more than just music. ) 25.00

V/A - Saigon Supersound 1964-75 Volume Two DLP (Saigon - Saigon Supersound Continues… to present more interesting tunes of a musical era that has long been obscured. With the well-received Volume 1, we are very delighted to dig deeper and share with you the beautiful music of a short but significant period in Vietnam‘s history.  Much like the country itself, the music of Vietnam has endured many twists. As the result of the Geneva Accords in 1954, Vietnam was divided into two. From the North, the Nationalist forces fought to reunite Vietnam as a Communist State, while the American troops backed the government of the South. This caused a mass migration of Northerners to the South, which includes many Tân Nhc (Modern Music) singers and songwriters. Often characterized by its emotive, poetic and prolific personality, Tân Nhc continued to freely develop in the South and progressively vacating from the influences of its main inspiration, French music. In the North, the Resistance music, or the so-called Nhc Đ (Red Music), which promoted socialism, patriotism and anti-capitalism was the only genre allowed on national radio.) 30.00

V/A - Saigon Supersound 1965-75 Volume One DLP (What started as an idea 5 years ago now becomes reality with the release of Saigon Supersound Vol.1, compiled by Jan Hagenkötter. A compilation about the story of a musical era in Vietnam that was almost lost, made of tracks from 1965 to 1975, the so-called “Golden Music” period in the south of Vietnam, where – under difficult circumstances – a lively pop culture had developed. This period is characterized by the fusion of Vietnamese music with western pop music. The compilation includes some tunes reissued for the very first time since they´ve been released originally. With the release of Saigon Supersound Vol. 1 on double gatefold vinyl and cd in May 2017 the story of this nearly unknown music will be reissued.  Jan Hagenkötter a music-lover and DJ who is also the mind behind the renowned music publishing company and record label INFRACom!, relocated to Saigon in 2012. In co-operation with the Vietnam based dOSe crew, Jan organized parties and shows, inviting guest and friends like DJ Spinna, Jazzanova, Alice Russell and many other artists. During this year as he was spinning tunes in Saigon and other parts of South East Asia the idea for this project was born. In 2013 Jan returned to Germany but has been swinging back and forth between Saigon and Frankfurt ever since.  In the following years he began to research and collect more seriously. He bought vinyl singles from around the world, often several copies of the same release, just to restore or rather “rebuild” one good recording from several sources.) ) 30.00
