GIRLS OF THE GRAVITRON - magnetic mountain LP

Featuring members of Barbaras, Kazalok and Magic Kids (Matador Recrods), Girls of the Gravitron are a Memphis based band on the right side of the ‘lo-fi’ scale. Recording in a garbage can, doing everything they can to hide their sweet, sweet melodies. They craft distorted, fuzzy, acoustic, and catchy little tunes that resembles Black Lips with a Times New Viking approach to recording. Several of the members also play occasionally with Wavves. The group had a planned release on Jay Reatard's Shattered Records label, before he passed away.
